NiSoft is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join the team to assist with delivering projects to meet customer demands and requirements based in Denver, Colorado.  As a Business Analyst you will provide business analysis, project management, software implementation management and support for NiSoft’s single site configuration projects.  In addition, you may be called upon to provide business analysis and technical project support as project team member for larger, corporate, multisite projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a BA and PM on single site configuration projects
  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops
  • Gather, understand, translate and document operational safety workflow and processes
  • Achieve smooth and professional delivery of client projects, ensuring, beyond all other competing demands, that clients’ expectations are constantly exceeded
  • Provide feedback to the project team, Global Projects Manager/PM in the management of the risk and issues management process.
  • Provide database support both on site and remotely where necessary
  • Design, document and perform data ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  • Provide the clients (internal and external) with new releases of software and upgrade instructions
  • Attend client user group meetings
  • Verify new releases of software meets the customer requirements
  • Manage functionality requests for clients
  • Provide on call support for clients when necessary
  • If necessary, attend software installation and configuration at client sites
  • Organize and carry out user training on-site or at NiSoft offices
  • Assist the sales team in preparing for sales meetings and demonstrations by providing technical and safety rules support
  • Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
  • Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports
  • Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Information Services (or similar)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the IT realm including at least one of the following
    • Information and requirements gathering
    • MS SQL Server/Oracle experience
    • Data analysis with SQL queries
    • Working in an IT support role
    • Delivering configured software into an external environment
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid passport
  • Professional, Outgoing Manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, results focused and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to travel, as required
  • Strong customer relationship management skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in an IT services or consulting role
  • Experience using industry standard project methodologies, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with data ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  • Experience with data manipulation using Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft SQL queries/scripts
